Jee Main 2021 Syllabus eligibility form filling.

 Introduction JEE 2021

  • The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India (GoI) has established National Testing Agency (NTA) as an self-sustaining voluntary and self-sustained premier testing organization under Society Registration Act 1860 for conducting efficient, transparent and international standards tests in order to  the competency of candidates for admissions to premier higher education institutions.
  • The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India has given the responsibility of conducting Joint Entrance Examination JEE (Main) to the NTA from the year 2019 onwards.
  • Admission criteria to Undergraduate Engineering courses at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTI), Institutions funded by participating State Governments, and other Institutions shall include the performance in the class 12/equivalent qualifying Examination and in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main). The B. E. /B. Tech. of JEE (Main) will also be an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which the candidate has to take if he/she is aspiring for admission to the undergraduate programs offered by the IITs.


JEE 2021 Exam Dates(Expected) :
  • The JEE (Main)-2021 will be conducted twice before admissions in the next academic session as we knows but some changes may happen due to Coronavirus :
  •  Students gets another chance if he gets fail to give his best in first attempt.
  •  In first attempt, the students will get a first-hand experience of taking an examination and to know their mistakes which they can improve while attempting for the second time.
  •  This will reduce chances of dropping a year and droppers would not have to waste a full year.
  •  If anyone missed the JEE examination due to Coronavirus, then he/she won’t have to wait for one full year.
  •  The student’s best of the two NTA scores will be considered for preparation of Merit List/ Ranking.
  • The first JEE (Main) – 2021 will be  held in January 2021 and the second will be held in April, 2021(All Dates are tentative not confirmed).
JEE 2021 Eligibility Criteria :

Age Limit.

For appearing in the JEE (Main) examination there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed class 12th / equivalent examination in 2018, 2019,2020 or appearing in 2021 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE (Main) examination – 2021. The candidates should also satisfy themselves about their fulfilling the age limit requirements of the Institutes in which they want to taking admission. The candidates must note that the IITs have an age limit / restriction.

Jee Main 2021 List of Qualifying Examinations (QE)

  • The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized central/ State Board, such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi; Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi; etc..
  • Final examination of the two-year course of the Joint Services Wing of the National Defence Academy.
  • Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University   
  • Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling with a minimum of five subjects.
  • Any Public School/ Board/ University examination in India or in any foreign country recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 system by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
  •  Higher Secondary Certificate Vocational Examination.
  • A Diploma recognized by AICTE or a State board of technical education of at least 3 year duration.
  • General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.
  • High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva.
JEE Main 2021 Form Filling(Instructions for Filling Online Application Form) :

For Candidates have to apply for JEE (Main) April-2021 “Online” ONLY by accessing the websites: www.nta.ac.in and jeemain.nta.nic.in The Application Form other than online mode would not be accepted in any case. Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. More than one application i.e. Multiple application forms submitted by a candidate will be rejected. If at any stage, it is found that the candidate has submitted multiple Applications and /or appeared in more than one date/shift, then the candidature will be cancelled and legal action will be taken including debarring in all future examinations conducted by NTA. It is suggested that the candidates have the following ready before starting the filling up of the online application form
  • A computer with good Internet connectivity.
  •  All your qualification details.
  •  Scanned clear passport photograph in JPG/JPEG format (size between 10 kb–200 kb).
  •  Scanned clear signature in JPG/JPEG format (size between 4 kb–30 kb).
  •  Scanned clear 12th Class or equivalent Admit card/Mark sheet/Score Card (size between 50 kb-500 kb).
  •  A valid e-mail Id as all communication will be made on this e-mail Id.
  •  A valid mobile number as all information via SMS will be sent to this number.
  •  A valid debit/credit card or Net banking account or UPI or PAYTM Service.
  •  A printer connected to your system to print confirmation page.
