What is MHTCET 2023?
MHTCET 2023 is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Government of Maharashtra for admission to undergraduate courses in engineering, pharmacy, and agriculture. The exam is conducted in offline mode and comprises multiple-choice questions. Candidates who qualify for the exam will be eligible for admission to various government, government-aided, and private colleges in Maharashtra.
MHTCET 2023 Exam Registration Dates
The exam registration process for MHTCET 2023 has started on 10th March 2023, and the last date for registration is 31st March 2023. Candidates must complete their registration before the last date to avoid any last-minute rush or technical issues.
Eligibility Criteria for MHTCET 2023
Before registering for the Mhtcet exam, candidates should take a look on the eligibility criteria rules for MHTCET 2023. The eligibility criteria for MHTCET 2023 are is below:
The candidate must be a citizen of India.
The candidate must have passed class 12th or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject.
The candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates) in the above-mentioned subjects combined.
How to Register for MHTCET 2023 Exam?
The registration process for MHTCET 2023 exam is started online and you should follow these steps
Step 1: Online Registration
Candidates must visit the official website of MHTCET 2023 and click on the registration link. They must fill in their personal details like name, date of birth, contact details, etc., and choose a password for their account.
Step 2: Filling the Application Form
After successful registration, candidates must log in to their account and fill in the application form with their academic and personal details, as well as their preferred exam centers.
Step 3: Uploading Documents
Candidates must upload their scanned photograph and signature in the prescribed format and size.
Step 4: Payment of Application Fee
After filling in the application form and uploading the documents, candidates must pay the application fee through online mode. The application fee for MHTCET 2023 is Rs. 800 for general category candidates and Rs. 600 for reserved category candidates.
Step 5: Submission of Application Form
After successful payment of the application fee, candidates must submit their application form and take a printout of the same for future reference.
MHTCET 2023 Exam Pattern
Candidates must be familiar with the exam pattern of MHTCET 2023 before starting their preparation. The exam pattern of MHTCET 2023 is as follows:
Each section will contains 50 questions, and each question will give you one mark.
- The exam will be conducted in offline mode and comprise multiple-choice questions.
- The exam will be conducted for a duration of 180 minutes.
- The exam will comprise three sections, i.e., Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology.
- Each section will comprise 50 questions, and each question will carry one mark.
There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
